LIRDirect.com ("we," "us") connects travelers arriving at Liberia (LIR) Airport directly with independent, licensed local drivers in Guanacaste, Costa Rica. This page explains what information we collect through this website and how it's used.

This website does not have a contact form, account login, or online checkout — there is nothing to submit here. Every booking starts when you choose to message us on WhatsApp. When you do, we receive whatever you send us: typically your name (as shown in WhatsApp), phone number, destination, number of passengers, travel dates, and any other details you share (e.g. flight information, luggage, or special requests).

How We Use It

We use this information only to quote, arrange, and coordinate your private shuttle — including sharing your pickup details with the driver assigned to your ride. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with third parties beyond the driver needed to complete your transfer.

WhatsApp & Third-Party Services

Conversations happen on WhatsApp, a messaging service operated by Meta Platforms, Inc. Your use of WhatsApp is also governed by WhatsApp's own Privacy Policy, which we don't control.

Cookies & Tracking

This website does not currently use cookies, analytics, or advertising trackers. If that changes in the future, this policy will be updated to reflect it.

Payments

We do not collect or store payment information through this website. Rides are paid directly to your driver on arrival, with credit card or cash (USD or CRC) payment options available.

We keep booking-related messages only as long as needed to arrange your transfer and for basic record-keeping afterward. You can ask us to delete your information at any time by messaging us on WhatsApp.

Your Rights

You can ask us what information we have about you, request a correction, or request deletion at any time — just send us a message on WhatsApp.

This service is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from minors beyond what a parent or guardian shares with us as part of arranging travel for their family.
